CHILD SAFETY DEVICES FOR CORDED SYSTEMS
Blinds with cords or chains must always be secured with a child safety device as the cords and chains pose as a potential strangulation and entanglement hazard. Our chain tidy does just that – available in a variety of colours for a neat and sleek finish whilst maintaining safety.
- Our range allows for all chain-controlled blinds to be fitted a chain tidy safety tassle to secure the chain with a safe and neat finish
- Easybreak® connectors are safety features for chain operation which disconnect when a certain amount of force is applied to the chain. If disconnection occurs accidentally these are easy to reconnect.
CORDLESS OPERATING SYSTEMS
Our wide variety of window coverings can be customized with a variety of child safe options without cords or chains to best suit your safety and space needs simultaneously – a perfect option for schools, nurseries, hospitals as well as all domestic window blinds.
- Our automation range is convenient yet affordable for domestic and commercial projects. Choose from a variety of battery powered or wired motors for the best control and alignment with your needs.
- Louvolite Perfect Fit® frame clicks into uPVC window and door frames. You Choose from our roller, pleated, cellular or venetian blinds, which are concealed neatly within the Perfect Fit frame.
- Our vertical, panel and Allusion™ blinds can be used with monocommand wand control.
- Roller blinds operated with our Soft Rise Spring Return system raise smoothly up to a pre-set upper stop when released.
- Crank Handle operation can be used with our Roller and Vision® blinds. The wand handle is detachable from the operating clutch.
- Shutters are a contemporary and stylish solution using fitted tilt rods to control light and glare, eliminating the need to loose cords and controls.
All Louvolite operating systems are compliant with the Child Safety Requirements of BS EN13120.
